Visited Kolkata Noy Art Café (APC Road, Kolkata) yesterday and spent some really wonderful moments there. The ambience is calm and peaceful ..you hardly feel the outside traffic noise once you step in. We tried Darjeeling tea with grilled sandwich and fish & chips. The fish fry (with fresh bhetki maach) was excellent - light, fresh and tasty. What I really appreciated was that we requested all items to be made with less salt due to some dietary restrictions and the café staff perfectly customized everything just the way we asked. The overall experience ..food, service, and ambience - was truly delightful. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxed café experience in Kolkata. 🌿☕🍴

Blink and you miss kind of a place right on the main road. Despite the tiny stature, this is fabulous and must visit . The ambience is calm, relaxing and attentive. You can spend your time flipping through the books or playing board games. Most importantly this is not one of those places which is high on ambience but average on food. Great good and rightly priced. And the cherry in top would be the music , specially of you are a Bengali rock , folk music fan. Named Kolkata Noy after the local pincode, this place definitely IS What A Kolkata cafe should be !!

We ordered mushroom paper roll, butter garlic chicken, mushroom sandwich, pasta in white sauce along with beverages. The dishes were delicious. Highly recommended.

After visiting Jorasanko Thakurbari, we were looking for a cafe in the vicinity that would do justice to our evening hunger pangs and coffee craving. Among the options that Google threw up, Kolkata Noy was one. We took our chances and started walking towards it. The 2.5 km walk from Jorasanko through narrow lanes was tiring but interesting as well. Finally, we reached the cafe situated bang on one of the major arterial roads of Kolkata, viz., Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road. The brightly lit cafe was shining through the glass door. We entered and were immediately transported to a different world. The cafe was tiny but had an intense charm about it. Books on shelves, artworks on walls, curios for sale, low seating, warm lighting...Kolkata Noy instantly won us over. Then our sandwiches and coffees arrived. Made and served with so much care, those had to be delicious! The owners were managing the cafe themselves and it was clear that they are deeply passionate about what they're doing. If you're in the vicinity, don't miss this cafe. They're quite pocket-friendly too.

A cute little place on APC road that transforms into a magical place as you enter. Quirky, tastefully done interiors, fantastic service and lip smacking food.. what more can one ask for on wintry Kolkata evenings

Small. Cozy. Miniature. Vintage, yet contemporary at the same time. We passed the cafe many times in the last few months but finally decided to pop in last evening. The pakoras were crispy, hot and it's batter was perfect. Cooked to perfection. The coffee was brewed fresh. The burger was tasty, the buns soft and the patty crispy. The staff was polite and well-mannered. The person serving us knew the menu well. His suggestions were perfect. The decor was lively. The food and the knick knacks are competing to outdo each other. Keep up the good work! Uphold the taste.

This café has a warm, crafty atmosphere that feels both authentic and inviting. Every corner is so thoughtfully decorated — from the cozy lights to the cute little handmade details, it’s simply adorable! The menu offers delicious food, but the highlight for me was their Tangra-style Chicken Chilli — perfectly spiced, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve tasted. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food in a cozy, creative setting.

An amazing place to hang out and unwind. The ambience is absolutely on point, especially the music, which really adds to the overall vibe of the place. The food is delicious and well-prepared, making the experience even better. What truly stands out is the wide collection of board games available—you can easily spend hours here having fun with friends. Overall, it’s a lively, cozy spot that’s perfect for relaxing, playing games, and enjoying good food and great music. Highly recommended!
